Tartu Open is a BLD oriented one-day competition. It has so far taken place in 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, and 2018. Next competition is expected to happen in December 2019.

Tartu Open 2018

Tartu Open 2018 was held at 8th of December in Estonian Students' Society house in Tartu.
There were 55 competitors from 4 countries (Estonia, Latvia, Germany and Russia).
Aleksandr Beznogov (RUS) won the main event (3x3) with an average of 10,72 sec. Mikus Lembergs (LAT) came 2nd with 11,16 sec and Erik Kippus (EST) 3rd with an average of 11,28 sec.
4 new Estonian and 2 new Latvian records were made.

Tartu Open 2017 was held in 9th of December at Korp! Ugala house in Tartu.
It included the following events: 2x2, 3x3, 5x5, 3x3 bld, 3x3 oh, megaminx, pyraminx and skewb.
In total there were 35 competitors (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Mexico), that at a time was also participation record in Estonia.

Tartu Open 2016 was held in 10th of December at Tartu Public Library. Timetable.
The competition started at 11:00 and ended at 15:30. Events were 2x2, 3x3, 3x3 oh, 3x3 BLD, 3x3 multi BLD, 3x3 FM and 4x4.
In total there were 11 competitors.
4 new records were made (Uku Kruusamägi and Mihkel Ilves). Main event (3x3) was won by Alfred Saidlo with an average of 12.35 sec.

Tartu Open 2012 was held in 29th of December at Tartu Public Library. Timetable. The competition started at 10:00 and ended at 16:00. Events were 2x2, 3x3, 3x3 oh, 3x3 BLD, 3x3 MBLD, 4x4 BLD, pyraminx, Magic and Master Magic.

In total there were 12 participants as in 2011. 5 Estonian and 6 Latvian records were made.
